What’s better than having one of the quickest, fastest, best-engineered, and certainly most badass small tire, late model Chevrolet Corvettes in the world in your garage? How about having two of them in your garage.
Popular Outlaw Drag Radial competitor John Carter, who has been campaigning his stunning 4.4-second 2004 Chevrolet Corvette sporting turbocharged power from Proline Racing for the last handful of seasons, has unveiled the new Corvette that he’ll soon debut in the always tough Outlaw 10.5 category.
Carter’s new 2011 Corvette, featuring a striking black, silver, and blue paint scheme very similar to that of his Outlaw Radial ride, will receive power from a Proline-prepared 670 cubic inch all-aluminum big block with a pair of monstrous 94mm Precision Pro Mod turbochargers delivering upwards of 4,000 horsepower to the 10.5W rear slicks. The Proline 670 is the very same engine combination used by Proline’s own Tim Lynch in his record-setting 2010 Corvette.

The Maryland natives’ new ‘Vette has been a lengthy work in progress, beginning back in 2010 under the crafty eye of Joey Bell and his team at Bell Chassisworks.
Keep an eye out for this slick new piece at the major heads-up events around the Northeast and elsewhere on the East coast where Carter has been a frequent competitor.
