“Lil Evil”, as this 1963 Corvette has become known, has had some very successful campaigns in past years under the reigns of Brandon Snider. The car regularly saw the low side of 3.90’s in the 1/8th mile but its configuration is all about to change. For those who have already seen this car compete at the ADRL races, it would have been hard to miss the huge screw blower sticking out the hood. Now the motor is going to get supercharged in a totally different and abstract fashion with twin centrifugal blowers mounted in a much more concealed package.

The Clark Brothers had wanted to take this Corvette in a different and unique direction ever since they purchased it and this is how they are going to do it; with a fully custom BAE-style Hemi engine with twin F2 Prochargers (don’t let the appearance fool you, those aren’t twin turbos!). All of the current build is taking place at Lenmar Motorsports in Mansfield, Texas. Giving up what was a proven high-3-second combination is an abstract idea but Eric Clark is striving to become the first driver to drive a Procharger-equipped car to the 3’s. Rumor on the message boards is that there is a little personal achievement race between Mark Micke and his BBC Camaro against Clark to see who can get there first.

All that’s left on this build is to complete the finishing touches and get the car back on track for some crucial testing notes. Expect to see this unique ‘Vette out on the track at Houston Raceway Park for ADRL’s season opener Safety-Kleen Dragpalooza VI on March 12-13 competing in the Pro Extreme class.
