PTC Radial vs. the World

We made it through four rounds in Radial vs the World before running up against the curfew at 11 PM Sunday night. With so much rain and no cars going down the track on Saturday the staff did a terrific job of getting the track back to racing condition. The final round completed saw the quickest side by side pass in drag radial history with Bad 9er Kyle Huettel earning the win over Jason Enos who raced for the first time on a radial tire here at Lights Out IV. I believe Huettel also reset his own record with his 4.214 @ 177.28 on that run. Look for Enos to be a player in the class as the Victory Racecraft team is very pleased with their performance at this event.

Brad Edwards also had his new personal best 4.284 @ 183 in his round 4 match with Frank Soldridge who slowed to a 4.53 @ 153 trailing smoke through the lights.

Arnold, Missouri racer Mark Woodruff had a good run at Lights Out IV qualifying 11th with his Sonny's powered Corvette. His best run in eliminations was a 4.354 @ 182 in a round three match with "The" Kevin Mullins who was sporting his new car this weekend, he left .009 to early in the loss in what was a great side by side run never the less putting up his best run of the weekend 4.342 @ 187 MPH.
