There have been some pretty interesting build videos made over the years as the digital age and the automotive enthusiast hobby have become interconnected, and this one is undoubtedly one of the best.

This video documents some of the beginning stages of European doorslammer standout Andy Frost’s buildup of an all-out Pro Modified/Pro Street car based on a 1972 Vauxhall VX4/90 FD shell, as seen in the clip. The work of chopping, stretching, and channeling of the stock body to create the mold for the carbon fiber body was completed by renowned custom fabricator Wayne Allman at The Intergalactic Custom Shop in the UK.

The body mold, which was finished in a total of 10 pieces and fused together, has already been completed and sent to the chassis shop, where the full-tube chromoly chassis is already being constructed under the body. The project is moving along at a rather brisk pace, as parts of the chassis are already beginning to take shape along with some of the front suspension and steering components.

Once complete, Frost plans to venture outside of his native England with the new ride and go toe-to-toe with some of the best racers in the world, including here in the United States. Power for this unique piece will come from a 540 cubic inch, twin-turbocharged big block on methanol.

Also, we felt it wise to offer a bit of forewarning on this video; don’t take a sip of your coffee around the 1 minute, 7 second mark, because it just might end up on your computer screen.
