In simple terms, freshly-machined billet aluminum is to a car guy what diamonds, gold, and other jewelry are to a woman. We’ll just stand there with our faces planted to the glass admiring it, and when someone else is wearing it, well, jealousy takes center stage.

In this day and age of turbocharging and supercharging in EFI-equipped applications, billet aluminum intake manifolds are the e-ticket to creating optimum airflow and therefore horsepower. And not only is the form and function of a custom intake superior to more mass-produced intakes, but they’re just simply drop dead gorgeous. Like drooling down your shirt gorgeous.

Todd and Keith Berry of Berry Motorsports down in Georgia, known for crafting some incredible components out of a block of aluminum, recently put the finishing touches on one stunning intake, designed for a conventional-headed Big Block Chevrolet where virtually no expense was spared in its design and creation. If this thing doesn’t turn your crank, you might be in the wrong hobby.

Keith has also shared with the public the SolidWorks drawing concept of the intake soon to be crafted for his upcoming Outlaw Drag Radial venture, which is much more low-profile in design but will be ultra-sexy nonetheless. The runners for this in take have already been machined, as have the fuel rails that feature Berry’s signature WOOOOOO!! theme machined into the black anodized finish.
