Ferrea Racing Components is not a new name in the race industry. In fact, the company has been lending its talent and valvetrain components to the performance and racing industries for the last 40 years and now supports many high-profile racing teams in Formula 1, NASCAR, Indy Car and
Sprint Car, as well as road and drag racing teams, with their advanced engine valve programs. But Ferrea isn’t just helping teams here in the United States stay at the top of their game in the racing industry, they’re also helping teams in Europe like the Brams Racing team. Check out what this European race team has accomplished in the last few years with the help of Ferrea components in the video above.
Brams Racing is a European-based team owned by John Bradshaw and run in cooperation with Abbey Motorsport. The driver for the team is Bradshaw himself, who pilots two (soon to be three) different Japanese cars in drag racing competitions throughout Europe. The Brams Racing 350Z features a complete Ferrea Racing Components valvetrain system, including valves, valve springs, retainers, sprint seat locators, valve locks, valve guides, and valve seals. With the help of Ferrea, the team has accomplished a number milestones in European racing, ultimately earning the team titles like World’s Quickest Nissan Skyline and Europe’s Fastest Japanese Car.
For the 2012 and 2013 seasons, Brams Racing is hoping to take the title of World’s Fastest Japanese Car and compete not only in European races, but also races here in the United States. With Ferrea components living up to their potential in the team’s Nissan 350Z drag car called Project ZED, and with Brams Racing constantly perfecting their ZED 2 350Z drag car project, we’re sure the team has a good shot at reaching their goals this year.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the Ferrea-equipped domestics and imports at your local drag racing events in the near future. From the sounds of it, the Brams Racing team is determined to take world-wide drag racing by storm, and with Ferrea components in their cars, they might just do it.
