When you’re using scales to set up a race car, accuracy is critical. You need a set of scales that are going to provide you with precise measurements. At SEMA 2026, Intercomp brought out its SW2K™ Classic Weigh™ with XBT® Bluetooth® Wireless Weighing Technology, and it’s the type of scale system that’s designed to produce accurate information.

This new scale system from Intercomp is based on its proven Expert Weigh™ XBT™ scales. Intercomp designed the SW2K™ Classic Weigh™ to be an affordable scale solution that any racer can use. Each scale pad has a low 1.25” profile, can hold up to 2,000 pounds each, and uses two AA batteries for power. The system comes with a case that’s on wheels and has Intercomp’s certified calibration to 0.25%

Intercomp’s Aaron Van Heel talks about what makes these scales stand out in the company’s lineup of products.

“This scale system uses our standard load cells that come with all our scales. They have a high capacity, offer low deflection, and are very accurate. Since these scales aren’t made of a billet material, we’re able to offer them at a lower price point, and that makes them more accessible to any racer.”

The scales use Intercomp’s XBT™ Bluetooth® Wireless Weighing Technology. The systems are available with the XBT® wireless indicator with a protective rubber boot, or an Android™ tablet with a hardened case. You can also use your own device to communicate with the scales to run with Intercomp’s iRaceWeigh mobile app or RaceWeigh PC software.
