Dallas Glenn is making a habit of checking tracks off his personal bucket list in 2026.

The reigning NHRA Pro Stock world champion continued his remarkable season Sunday at New England Dragway, capturing his third victory of the year at the NHRA New England Nationals presented by bproauto. In the process, Glenn extended his championship points lead and added another first-time victory venue to his growing résumé.

While rain ultimately halted racing before the Top Fuel and Funny Car finals could be completed, there was no question who owned the spotlight in Pro Stock. Driving the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro, Glenn delivered a masterclass in reaction time racing throughout eliminations before capping off the day with a nearly perfect final-round performance against veteran Matt Hartford.

Glenn Wins The Starting Line Battle

The final round showcased exactly why Glenn has become one of the most dangerous drivers in the category.

Knowing Hartford’s car would be quick, Glenn left little room for error when the Christmas Tree flashed. His stunning .002-second reaction time gave him a decisive advantage at the starting line, and he backed it up with a 6.543-second pass at 209.39 mph to secure his 24th career NHRA Pro Stock victory.

Glenn was exceptional throughout eliminations. He defeated Shane Tucker in the opening round before knocking off six-time world champion Erica Enders. In the semifinals, Glenn faced No. 1 qualifier Greg Anderson and once again won with his reaction time, posting a stellar .011 light to score a holeshot victory and advance to the final.

Against Hartford, he raised the bar even higher.

“Dave (Connolly, crew chief) said the track was going to run better if it held and he was going to be aggressive. I hit the tree pretty good the round before, so I left everything alone. The car felt great, and we just kept picking away at it all day, making it a little better every run,” Glenn said.

“When I got out of the car, I asked, ‘Was I at least double-oh something?’ I had no idea it was .002. I knew Matt was going to be fast, so I knew I needed to get enough on the tree to get around him. Historically, this hasn’t been one of my better tracks, but Dave and the team kept working on the car and we found enough to get the job done.”

Another Track Conquered

What makes Glenn’s 2026 campaign even more impressive is where these victories have occurred.

His first win of the season came in Phoenix, a track where he had never previously won. He followed that up with another breakthrough victory at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta. Now, New England Dragway joins the list.

“Phoenix was a track I’d never won at until this year. I’d never won here until today. Now we’re heading to Bristol, another place I haven’t won yet. Hopefully we can keep checking them off the list,” Glenn said.

With the win, Glenn now holds a 39-point advantage over Greg Anderson in the Pro Stock standings and continues to strengthen his position as the championship favorite.

Rain Delays Nitro Finals

As weather moved into the Epping area, NHRA officials were forced to postpone both the Top Fuel and Funny Car finals until next weekend’s Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway.

The Top Fuel final will feature a marquee matchup between points leader Shawn Langdon and Leah Pruett. Langdon advanced by defeating Clay Millican and Team Kalitta teammate Doug Kalitta, putting himself in position to capture a fourth consecutive event victory. If successful, it would further cement one of the hottest streaks Top Fuel has seen in recent years. Pruett earned her way into the final by defeating Scott Farley, Maddi Gordon, and Billy Torrence, continuing one of the most consistent seasons in the category.

In Funny Car, John Force Racing teammates Jordan Vandergriff and Jack Beckman will battle for the trophy.

Vandergriff continued his impressive rookie campaign by defeating Jeff Arend, Chad Green, and J.R. Todd to reach the final round. Beckman advanced with victories over Phil Burkhart, Matt Hagan, and current points leader Ron Capps. The all-John Force Racing final guarantees the organization another victory and adds another intriguing storyline when racing resumes in Bristol.
