The weakest link between the motor and axle is the driveshaft. Dyntotech Engineering has been manufacturing driveshafts since 1923, and is an integral supplier of almost every major racing organization.
“The one thing that makes these driveshafts different than what is out there is our high-speed balancing. It is definitely one thing that is difficult to see on the table, but something that can really be seen on the track,” said Steve Raymond.
All of Dynotech’s driveshafts are hand-built to order and have precision fit. Attention to detail is the name of the game, and balancing is just one of Dynotech’s processes the company takes great pride in.
The balancing process starts from the time they select raw materials, then using automated welding to make sure every weld is perfect. The high-speed balance capabilities of up to 8,000 rpm allow each driveshaft to balance with less than 0.20 ounces per inch.
“We have be busy with our Cobra Jet project. We are really happy with the way that project has been doing, and just glad to be apart of it,” Raymond told us, of the latest projects they are working on.
One added service Dynotech offers is a mobile service unit that can come to you to diagnose any vibration problem with your driveshaft. For more information, contact Dynotech Engineering using the information below.
