You can’t win a race if you don’t get off the starting line, and to make that happen you need to have the right set of tires. Phoenix Race Tires has a new 28/10.5 tire that provides tons of traction for no prep and bracket racers that uses the latest in tire manufacturing technology.

The 28/10.5 tire was developed by Phoenix based on the feedback provided by no prep and bracket racers. Phoenix took that information and used everything it had learned about how to make tires to create some hides that could stick to nearly any surface.

“The racers like the tire because it provides plenty of grip on a no prep surface, and it works well on a prepared track for bracket racing too. This tire also lasts a long time and the racers really like that. No prep racers were only getting 10 -20 runs out of tires they were using before the sidewalls would start to break down. With this tire, they’re getting double the amount of runs out of the tires,” explains Mike Crutchfield from Phoenix Race Tires.

Phoenix offers the 28/10.5 tire in a regular and stiff sidewall configuration, so racers have options to match their specific application. The tires are available in a 15 and 17-inch size currently, this means that racers who are running larger wheels can use the 28/10.5 as well. If you’re in the market for a new set of tires to use in no prep or bracket racing, head over to the Phoenix Racing Tires website right here to pick up a pair.
