Lights Out doesn’t feel like a race, it feels like a living organism that’s always evolving. It seems like there’s always new racers, new classes, and new stories to be told each year. Sure, there are a few staple classes that stay on the docket, but everything else seems to morph and change based on what’s hot in small tire racing.
There’s nothing wrong with that, it keeps things fresh and new, which is what makes Lights Out interesting. As you wander around the pits at South Georgia Motorsports Park at one of these events, you’ll see everything from professional-level teams to your average grassroots racer having a great time being a part of the big show. It’s all part of the Lights Out experience and what keeps the organism going.
