There was a time when the future of 304 Motorsports Park was in doubt. It’s safe to say the WAR at 304 event erased every ounce of that uncertainty. The Hoskinson family, stars of the Street Racing Channel on YouTube, brought this no-prep drag racing show to the facility and proved why 304 Motorsports Park is such a special place.
You’re not going to find another track in the country with the views that 304 Motorsports Park offers. When you combine that scenery with the atmosphere of a no-prep race and everything else WAR at 304 offered, you have all the ingredients for a great weekend of racing. If you want proof, the gallery from KW Photography should be all you need to see.
WAR at 304 featured plenty of classes, so if you were willing to “get in where you fit in,” there was a place for you. The class lineup included Index classes, Hard Tire, Daily Driver, True Street, Stick Shift, Street Slick, Gangster 26s, Lil’ Gangstas, and Small Tire.

The biggest storyline of the WAR at 304 weekend was the series of battles between Billy Hoskinson and Ryan Mitchell.
On Friday, Mitchell and Hoskinson squared off in the High Roller Small Tire final, where Mitchell came out on top. The two racers met again on Saturday and ran it back in the Heavyweight Small Tire final. This time, Hoskinson was able to pull off the victory.
Some people will try to tell you that no-prep racing is dead. WAR at 304 showed that the grassroots world of no-prep drag racing is alive and well.
