With the 2012 race season heating up, the National Mustang Racing Association has just announced that Aeromotive will be sponsoring the NMRA Bracket Showdown at upcoming events. If your race car is fueled by Aeromotive, be sure to wear their decal proud at your next NMRA event and have a chance to score a gift card for more Aeromotive products.

Aeromotive is no stranger to the NMRA. In fact, just last year, Aeromotive president Steve Matusek broke the NMRA’s speed record with a 6.11-second pass at 250.41 mph at the NMCA World Street Finals in his Aeromotive fueled twin-turbocharged Mustang. This was the fastest pass ever recorded in NMRA competition and the first to surpass the 250mph mark. Even more impressive was the fact that Matusek was consistent with his speed in the other two rounds, throwing down trap speeds of 248 and 249mph.

Aeromotive also fuels many big name race cars in all branches of drag racing competition, including NMCA racer Chris Rini’s ATI Camaro that set the NMCA record last year for elapsed time with a 5.98-second pass at 236.46 mph. With cars like this and Matusek’s fueled by Aeromotive products, you know they provide race-worthy components for your competitive needs.

As part of their sponsorship for the NMRA Bracket Showdown, Aeromotive will award the winners of each bracket eliminator class that’s sporting the Aeromotive decal on their cars with a bonus $100 gift certificate for Aeromotive products. The three bracket eliminator classes for the Aeromotive Bracket Showdown include Bracket 1 (electronics), Bracket 2 (no electronics) and Bracket 3 (street tires).

If you’re already running Aeromotive components on your vehicle and are looking for even more ways to take care of your competitive itch, be sure to check out the next NMRA event for the Aeromotive-sponsored Bracket Showdown. You could walk away with $100 to spend on even more great products from Aeromotive.
