The top end of an engine is a great place to unlock big horsepower. Air Flow Research (AFR) now offers a full lineup of camshaft and valvetrain kits for 289/302 and 351 Windsor small-block Ford-based engines.
AFR’s Renegade CNC and Enforcer As-Cast cylinder heads are already known for their ability to help turn any SBF-based engine into a rowdy rocket. The new camshaft and valvetrain kits are designed to be the perfect complement to these heads and remove the guesswork from selecting the right valvetrain parts.
The kits were developed through a partnership with Andrews Products and Morel Lifters. AFR designed the kits to be drop-in systems that ensure spring pressures are optimal, valve motion isn’t impacted, and lifters perform at their highest level. Long story short, you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues.

You can expect great throttle response from each of these kits. The kits also offer plenty of valvetrain stability and will last a long time in Saturday night cruisers or Ford-powered machines that make plenty of passes at the track. All of these kits have been dyno-tested with performance validation by AFR’s in-house development team.
Each AFR custom camshaft that’s included in the kits was precision ground by Andrews Products. The valve-spring sets are matched to each kit for the best seat/open pressures and coil-bind clearance. You can choose from either OE-style or link-bar lifter designs based on your needs.
