Coming In Hot: The $10K Drag Shootout Season Two Preview

Buckle up, because the second season of the Horsepower Wars $10K Drag Shootout is on the two-step and ready to launch!

This year teams from all over the United States and Australia step up to the challenge of building a racecar in just ten days and with a budget of only $10,000. You can expect to see plenty of drama, action, and carnage during season two of the $10K Drag Shootout.

The sophomore season of the $10K Drag Shootout uses the same basic rules as last year’s competition: each team has $7,000 in gift cards from Summit Racing Equipment to purchase new parts along with $3,000 in cash to buy whatever else they need. The car must be completed in just 10 days at the Horsepower Wars shop, because after the 10th day the teams won’t see their car until it’s time to race at No Mercy 10 this October.

Selecting teams for this year’s show wasn’t easy, but those that made the cut are the best of the best. The two new teams for this year are Team Enemies Everywhere from Australia, and Team Midwest Mayhem from the United States. Back for the second season is The Comp Cams Dream Team, and returning champions from season one, Team Bigun. All of these teams will be challenged when it comes time to start their builds based on the vehicles they will be working with.

Here are the release dates for each episode of the $10K Drag Shootout. Check out each full episode when they go live at 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST on the Horsepower Wars website right here.
