The drag racing world has lost a radial racing legend, Keith Berry, who passed away in his home state of Georgia. Berry was known for his colorful personality and was a fierce competitor on the track, setting records, winning numerous big events, and championships.
Berry and his Corvette first started making noise in the LS racing world by setting several records, but that was just the beginning. The Corvette continued to evolve and eventually became one of the most feared radial tire cars in the world. Berry won a Duck X Productions Lights Out event and became a multi-time NMCA Radial Wars world champion.

Berry even took on the roles of race promoter and reality TV star during his life. The WOOOSTOCK events that Berry put on at Darlington Dragway brought the no time and class racing worlds together in front of big crowds. Berry spent plenty of time in front of the camera during the second season of the Horsepower Wars 10K Drag Shootout as well.
Drag racing is full of larger-than-life people, and Keith Berry was certainly one of them. Anytime you were around him, you were going to have a good time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Keith’s family and friends.
