The Gen 3 HEMI platform continues to grow in popularity, and that means more companies are rolling out new parts for these engines. Moroso has stepped up its Gen 3 HEMI game with new mounting brackets for dry-sump oiling systems and a full lineup of oil pans. In total, Moroso offers five different oil pans for the Gen 3 HEMI, covering both wet- and dry-sump applications.
If you’re looking to add a dry-sump oiling system to your Gen 3 HEMI–powered ride, Moroso’s new bracket adapter is designed to make the job easier. This bracket allows you to mount any of Moroso’s trilobe external oil pumps to a Gen 3 HEMI, with or without a supercharged timing cover. The bracket also provides the flexibility to mount the pump on either the driver or passenger side of the engine.
Moroso’s lineup of Gen 3 HEMI oil pans is extensive and offers a wide range of options for modern HEMI enthusiasts. The fabricated pans are constructed from aluminum and are suitable for use in numerous applications.
The wet-sump pans in Moroso’s catalog feature a large rear-sump configuration. Inside each pan is a trap-door system designed to prevent oil starvation during hard acceleration. A louvered anti-slosh plate further enhances oil control, while -16 AN fittings are included on each pan to accommodate any required oil line plumbing.
Moroso designed its dry-sump Gen 3 HEMI oil pans with four -12 AN pickup fittings, dual -8 AN drain backs, and louvered windage trays. For Hellcat applications, Moroso offers a pan with the pickup located on the passenger side, while the non-supercharged pans can be plumbed on either side. There is also a version of the dry-sump pan designed to work with the Blackbird Performance Products belt-drive timing cover.
You can view all of the available Gen 3 HEMI oil pan options on the Moroso website.
