NHRA officials this week announced the 2026 schedules for the Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories in the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, weaving both categories into a milestone season celebrating the sanctioning body’s 75th anniversary.
Pro Stock will run the full gauntlet, with all 20 national events on its calendar, joining Top Fuel and Funny Car as the three classes guaranteed to be in front of fans at every stop. The year kicks off at Gainesville Raceway March 5-8 for the 56th NHRA Gatornationals, and from there, Pro Stock will be a constant presence at every race on tour.
Pro Stock Motorcycle, as is traditional, will be plenty busy with 14 points-paying events and the added spotlight of the GETTRX All-Star Callout. The two-wheeled season begins in Gainesville before heading to Charlotte’s four-wide spectacle and then joining the series in its debut at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Chicago, Bristol, and Norwalk also return to the motorcycle schedule, alongside the NHRA’s first-ever national event at Maryland International Raceway, giving the class a strong mix of legacy venues and fresh new audiences.
The GETTRX Callout format will again add entertainment value for fans of both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. For the bikes, Sonoma will serve as host on July 17-18, with eight of the class’ best squaring off in a specialty shootout during the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals. Pro Stock’s Callout will be contested at Norwalk on June 27 during the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, where the category’s elite-eight will battle for bragging rights and bonus cash. These Callout races stand separate from championship points but have quickly become fan favorites for their unpredictable, rivalry-rich matchups.
The playoff Countdown to the Championship will feature all four Mission Foods Drag Racing Series classes once again, with six races from Indy to Pomona deciding titles. Reading, St. Louis, Dallas, Las Vegas, and one yet-to-be-named stop fill out the postseason alongside the U.S. Nationals, putting the spotlight squarely on every late-season performance.
