NHRA Nitro Rewind is back with another glance in the rearview mirror as this most recent episode highlights the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, along with a preview of this weekend’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago. As always, the internet based broadcast is hosted by veteran drag racing reporter Bill Stepehens and just as the name implies, and features the stars of the NHRA’s Top Fuel and Funny Car categories.

“Nitro Rewind is hitting its stride at the perfect time. We have the Chicago race coming up, and then we go right into the Western Swing. Fans will get to see and hear from tons of the nitro drivers in the weeks ahead,” Ashley Force Hood, president of John Force Entertainment, told nhra.com.

“Ron and Jon Capps may have stolen this week’s episode, and Tony Pedregon and Doug Kalitta talk about heading to Chicago’s Route 66 Raceway, where they have both dominated in Funny Car and Top Fuel, respectively.”

This week’s episode features Norwalk Funny Car champ Mike Neff, along with the Funny Car family affair of brothers Ron and Jon Capps as they deliver a combo interview discussing their youth and their racing careers. In addition to Pedregon, fellow Funny Car driver Matt Hagan  also gets in on the action with some time on the mic as the series looks ahead to Chicago.

Each and every episode of the Nitro Rewind can be found on the NHRA’s YouTube channel on the Thursday following each NHRA national event.
