It’s hard to believe that it’s already a week shy of November, and with the conclusion of the NHRA Arizona Nationals at the Firebird Raceway in Phoenix last week, the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series is down to just two events left to decide the professional champions. Both of the nitro category titles are still very much up for grabs, and Nitro Rewind, produced by John Force Entertainment and hosted by none other than Bill Stephens, has an all new episode that will get the NHRA faithful up to speed on the goings-on at Phoenix and what to look forward to as the tour rolls into Sin City and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

In this episode of Nitro Rewind, Stephens catches up with the surging Johnny Gray, driver of the Serve Central Dodge, who was runner-up to teammate Jack Beckman in Phoenix. Despite being outside the Countdown, Gray has made his mark as a spoiler to the title contenders. Beckman, the new points leader in Funny Car, shares his take on the title hunt, while fellow Funny Car pilot Bob Tasca III discusses his vantage point and hope for a come-fom-behind run at the #1.

Over in the Top Fuel pit area, new points leader Antron Brown also shares his thoughts on his Phoenix win and the final two races in Las Vegas and Pomona as he seeks his first title in the category.

“With the season winding down we are trying to get as many perspectives as we can on Nitro Rewind from the drivers in contention as well as the drivers who may not be in the Countdown but are still having an impact,” said Ashley Force Hood, John Force Entertainment president.
