Optic Armor Performance Windows is a privately owned company based out of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks area in the state of Missouri. Out of this small American made shop rolls some of the strongest, safest and most lightweight windows on the market today for your high performance machine or power sport application.

DSC_5982With the optical clarity and scratch resistance of normal OEM glass options, Optic Armor has hit the scene running in the market of polycarbonate products. As new cars are being produced daily for competition in some of drag racing’s quickest and fastest classes on wheels, sometimes the importance of a strong windshield is overlooked. After all, the windshield and window set are the last line of defense for a driver as he/she is strapped in tightly with numerous harnesses and no driver wants to have a shadowed or scratched windshield to look out of to try and get that ever important holeshot advantage.

Street Outlaws’ stars David “Daddy Dave” Comstock and Chris “Boosted GT” Hamilton have gone with Optic Armor in their new cars that can be seen soon on the nationally televised hit show. Scott Taylor and his “John Doe” Cutlass, John Andrade’s Olds Cutlass, Shawn Ellington’s “Murder Nova”, and others.

IMG_3085Andrew Alepa’s freshly-built and now record-holding Chevrolet Corvette has a custom C7 windshield molded in to keep driver Rob Valden seeing clear and able to wheel the car to over 212 miles per hour in only 3.85 seconds. Many other top competitors are choosing Optic Armor Performance Windows, as well, including Ultra Street racer Michael Roemer, and new Limited Drag Radial ET record holder, Don Burton and his ProCharger-equipped Fox body Ford Mustang. Larry Larson’s world-beating Chevrolet S-10 also sports Optic Armor Windows, as does Shawn Ayers in the Fletcher Cox-owned radial tire Mustang, and X275 kingpin Ron Rhodes.

With the 2016 season just getting started, Optic Armor and their customers are off to a strong start to the season and all involved look to keep their eyes forward and focused through a clear, scratch resistant windshield out of the Optic Armor Performance Windows product line.
