In case you haven’t heard, the world is coming to an end this Friday, December 21st. That, according to the Mayans, whose ancient Long Count calendar, which is believed to have been established more than 5,000 years ago, will complete its date count cycle and effectively end. While some have taken the end-of-days theory revolving around December 21 seriously, it has, in large part, just been the center of a lot of great jokes.

Our friends over at Racepak have taken the opportunity — perhaps the last opportunity — to play on the December 21st hypothesis by launching their End of the World Special that will award one person a big savings on a data system. “Shop like there’s no tomorrow, as there might not be,” proclaims the Racepak marketing team in reference to the special offer that runs through Friday.

With the end of the world just days away, Racepak is launching what they’re calling a once in a what’s left of our lifetime deal: the chance to earn a $1,500 credit toward a data system order for any customer that purchases a data system that exceeds $3,500 USD retail between December 17th and December 21st (by 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time). Eligible customers will be entered into a special drawing, with one winner receiving said $1,500 credit toward their purchase.
