Have you ever been to a race track when something has gone horribly wrong? All too often we see crazy things happen at race tracks that are “Outlaw” and even tracks that are run by the book are subject for just about anything to happen with the high horsepower cars that are racing today. Unfortunately with some of the wild crashes drivers are being injured severely and the track comes under a lot of criticism for such incidents. Well once again we’re bringing you another crazy incident from a small track in Prairie Hill, Texas as a driver was out of control from the hit of the throttle and it just got worse. As you can see in this video the driver who ultimately walks away unharmed is driving a straight axle Chevy Nova known as “Bewitched”. The car leaves the line and almost immediately make a hard move to the left coming into contact with the left barrier. As it continues on it seems as if the driver is still on the throttle as the car is still moving down track. In the end the crowd is scattering to get out of the way as the Nova jumps the wall and comes to a rest against a concrete barrier. Fortunately for the driver, the track had concrete barriers and not steel guard rails as we’ve seen in the past, which will easily rip a car into pieces in a situation like this one.
