Southern California native Chris Newman has taken delivery of a fresh new 2021 Chevrolet Camaro from the team at RJ Race Cars (RJRC) that he will campaign with his father, Wayne, in NHRA Division 7 Top Sportsman competition.
The Newmans have been racing for years and looked over other cars; After speaking with Rick and Rickie Jones, the Newmans decided that working with RJ Race Cars was the right decision for the new build. And once they saw their finished RJ car, they knew they had gone to the right place.
Chris was fitted for the car in January and it rolled out the door last week for its trip to the West coast.
