Small-tire racing is chocked full of Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros, so when someone builds a car that’s totally different, people definitely take notice. Andy McCoy Race Cars just delivered to a customer one unique old school Dodge Charger that’s sure to get some attention when it hits the track. This twin-turbo Mopar has some killer detail and the power to make it a contender when it makes its debut at the track.

Most fans in the racing world know Andy McCoy for his stunning Pro Mods roaming the drag strips of America, so this Charger is something a bit different for him. The Charger was delivered to McCoy’s shop with a single turbo setup and in need of some updates to push it to the next level. The car was stripped down so it could receive some upgrades to the chassis and roll cage.

The Mopar also went on a die,t having all the glass, front end, and doors replaced with lightweight parts. After the body work was complete the interior got some attention, as well, with the addition of carbon fiber seats and other goodies to help bring the Charger’s weigh down even more.

To take advantage of the new lower race weight, the undisclosed engine combination received some extra boost. Gone was the single turbo setup, and in its place a new turbo system that features a pair of 94 mm Precision snails to make power.
