Spitzer Race Cars Offers New Top Dragster Chassis Package

Spitzer Enterprises has been a trusted name in the drag racing industry for over 30 years, with continued dedication to driver comfort and safety on the track. Now Spitzer has come up their latest design, the Top Dragster Package, for 2012. With plenty of options, enhanced car features and an attractive base price, you’ll be on the track in no time in your new Top Dragster class competitor.

TOP DRAGSTER PACKAGE FROM SPITZER RACE CARS

Greenfield, IN – Highly respected SFI builder Spitzer Race Cars has introduced a 2012 series chassis for the increasingly popular Top Dragster class that incorporates enhanced car features and options, plus attractive package pricing. Base price for the car, which includes a carbon fiber body and wing, is $14,950. It is built to SFI 2.5C specifications (6.00 to 7.50 quarter-mile elapsed times).

Driver safety and comfort is a primary focus of the revised design, with cage widths of 21, 23 and 25 inches offered, as well as special “kick-out” in the seat that provides extra elbow room. The standard wheelbase is 272″—although it can be extended to 287″ depending on the customer’s choice of engine and driveline. It is a fast-reacting “hard tail” design and a proven 6.0-performer with appropriate power. A special high velocity “lump” wing and several different elements are offered for higher speed cars (up to 230 mph). 4-link models are also available.

The carbon fiber body, seat and wing are manufactured in-house at Spitzer Composites and included in the base car. A wide variety of aerodynamically designed air scoops are available options. Many other options are offered, up to an including a complete “roller.” Spitzer Race Cars is responsible for building many event and championship-winning race cars—including many in Top Dragster.
