The NMCA season is entering its final phase with the 17th Annual Honeywell Garrett NMCA All-American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park August 23-26. Every NMCA racer is heading to Norwalk, Ohio with the goal of winning so they can secure their spot in the top ten season points standings. SpeedVideo.com will have all the action LIVE right here so you don’t have to miss a minute of racing.
With the NMCA season winding down, the All-American Nationals is a final chance for racers to put themselves in position to win a class championship before the NMCA World Finals. This type of atmosphere always leads to some high drama as every round of racing means even more. There will be plenty of racing on the track for fans to check out, and even more fun in the pits for them to enjoy at Summit Motorsports Park August 23-26.
If you love classic muscle cars that are capable of some killer times in the quarter-mile, then you love the Factory Appearing Stock Tire (F.A.S.T.) group at the All-American Nationals. These cars are restored to look period-correct, but are capable of running in the single digits on the track. The F.A.S.T. group is like a museum of muscle cars came to life, and took over a drag strip so you know the action is going to be great.
If you like modern muscle cars, the Chevrolet Performance Street Car Challenge and Dodge/Mopar HEMI Shootout are two classes you’ll need to check out. These are both open to ultimate performance cars, trucks, and SUVs from each brand, with either the GM LS or LT engine and the Gen III HEMI. There are nine different categories of racing for each series and it’s free for the first 75 who enter!

The highlight of the All-American Nationals will be the 50th Anniversary Ford Performance Cobra Jet Reunion. You can expect to see some of the most famous Cobra Jet Mustangs ever in the pits on display, as well as on the track making passes. There will also be appearances by those who were a part of getting the Cobra Jet program started and more!
