Chris Hamilton, or as most know him BoostedGT, is one of the biggest names in street and No Prep racing behind the wheel of his bright yellow Mustang GT. It was revealed a few years ago that Hamilton had a New Edge Mustang that had been started at Team Z Motorsports, but the project seemed to go silent, until now. Hamilton just dropped a single picture of the Mustang on his Facebook page and it looks like the car is nearly ready to hit the streets.

Before Hamilton made his debut on Discovery Channel’s hit show Street Outlaws, he was already well-known and feared street racer who would take on anybody. The yellow Mustang that is Hamilton’s calling card was starting to not be enough for the high-caliber cars hitting the streets, so he began work on finishing up the New Edge car from Team Z. The car actually belonged to Stanley Morton at one point, the father of his significant other Kayla Morton.

The car is based on the 25.3 chassis that Team Z Motorsports built and is packed full of their great parts and other trick chassis work. The rumor is that the car will still have a small-block Ford under the hood with a pair of turbos tucked in the engine bay to provide the boost. In his Facebook post, Hamilton made his intentions with the car crystal clear.  “We will race this in Small tire, Big tire, No Prep, prep, street and grudge. It doesn’t matter, if there is a race we will be there.”
