The 25th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout is locked and loaded for another huge kickoff to the NMRA season. The Ford faithful from around the country are ready to break out of their winter shells and burn some rubber at Bradenton Motorsports Park February 28- March 3. When people think of the Spring Break Shootout one of the first things that come to mind is the massive True Street contingent that comes to participate. TREMEC is back again to reward those with the fastest clutch cars as the Stick Shift Shootout returns for True Street racers. True Street competitors will also have the chance to race in the JLT Performance Spring Break Shootout class that features the fastest 16 True Street cars as they run heads-up for cash and prizes.

The newest NMRA class, Modified Street, will make its debut at the Spring Break Shootout this year. Ford fans will get to see racers try to put down some big horsepower on a stock suspension, all while operating with a limited set of power-adders. There will be some killer racing in this class as competitors vie to become the first to crack into the seven-second zone.

Besides the Modified Street class, the NMRA is bringing in two new additions to the Spring Break Shootout: the first is the Turbo Battle presented by Hellion Power Systems, which will be a class filled with turbo cars running the full 1/4-mile in a heads-up format. The second addition will be the Nitto Tire Ultimate Burnout Contest. Eight Mustangs will be selected before the event by the NMRA to put on a tire-roasting show for the fans.
