Based out of Bohemia, New York, ProTorque Converters has sent waves through the racing world in 2015 with their products that have expanded the market and pushed racers to new heights, personal bests and national records. This past week, ProTorque showed their products can withstand five days, 1,200 miles towing a trailer, and racing on five tracks during the grueling Hot Rod Drag Week. Drag Week champions Tom Bailey (Unlimited), Bryant Goldstone (Ultimate Iron) and

Tom McGilton (Pro Street Power Adder) took their EV1 converters into the Drag Week history books as champions of the prestigious racing event.

Quite honestly, the most impressive AMC that we've ever seen. Numerous passes in the six-second zone!

Jeff Lutz ran into issues between Gateway Motorsports Park and Lucas Oil Raceway but on Day 1, Lutz laid down a 6.05 at 251 miles per hour to clinch both ends of the Drag Week Unlimited record book. Joe Barry (Ultimate Iron) and Glenn Hunter (Pro Street Power Adder) also took their Pro Torque products to solid finishes and some stellar runs in their quest for Drag Week gold.

Not to be set on the back burner, one of the most well-known heads-up races in the country was going on in Norwalk, Ohio at the Summit Motorsports Park. The Shakedown at the Summit gathered together hundreds of racing fanatics and racers alike to have yet another record-breaking weekend occur in 2015. DeWayne Mills continued his dominating pace since his accident earlier in the season, going to his sixth final round in the last seven races and gathering another victory with a new track record for Outlaw Limited Street with a 4.005 at 202.24 miles per hour to defeat Enzo Pecchini in the final round.

DeWayne Mills is just almost unstoppable this season, marking up another win and another 4.00 elapsed time on the way to the winner's circle. Mills and crew definitely have their converter program together!

John Fisher piloted his twin turbocharged ’69 Chevrolet Camaro to the No. 1 qualifying position in Outlaw Big Tire and completed the weekend sweep, like Mills, and ended in the winner’s circle after a 4.31 at 180 mph pass. Last but not least, Kevin Fiscus took his Bell/Fiscus Racing Ford Mustang to a new personal best elapsed time and miles per hour marks of 5.66 seconds at 264 miles per hour!

ProTorque has broken many marks so far this season and with better air conditions looming around the corner, what does the rest of Team ProTorque have up their sleeves for the remainder of the exciting and competitive 2015 drag racing season?
