The newest spin-off in the Discovery Channels’ Street Outlaws franchise is set to premiere tonight (6/22) at 8 pm. ET, and if its raw, unadulterated racing you’re after, this is a series you’ll want to tune into.
Street Outlaws Race Night in America, in a departure from the professional productions familiar to long-time fans of the franchise, was filmed entirely by racers and their teams at real-deal street races taking place on backroads and in warehouse districts around the country. So real is the racing — and the visits from law enforcement to shut it down — that the Discovery Channel won’t even disclose the race locations.
The all-new series will feature a number of newcomers and a host of familiar faces and machines, many of which have appeared on the Street Outlaws series from Memphis, New Orleans, No Prep Kings, and Fastest in America.
Race Night in America will span ten episodes, beginning tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Discovery.
