It’s hard to believe that Justin Ashley has been wheeling a Top Fuel dragster for six years now. Since Justin has started racing in the Top Fuel class he’s become a top-tier driver who is always in the title hunt. We got the chance to take a Dragzine Pit Walk with Justin and learn more about him.

One thing you need to remember about Justin is that he enjoys being around his fans just as much as he enjoys racing his car. It’s not uncommon to see Justin just having a nice conversation with fans and signing autographs. This fan appreciation that Justin shows has made him one of the most popular Top Fuel drivers in the pits.

For the past two seasons Justin has been on the cusp of winning an NHRA Top Fuel world championship, but the chips just never fell his way. For most teams, that would be a backbreaking experience, but Justin and the SCAG Power Equipment team have turned them into teachable moments. If you’re a betting person, you would be hard-pressed to not slide some money towards Justin winning the Top Fuel title in 2025.
