After months of meticulous work by a number of parties, radial tire team owner Andrew Alepa finally shut the lift gate of his trailer on Tuesday afternoon with his one-of-a-kind, immaculate C7 Corvette built for Radial vs. The World/Pro Drag Radial competition. Alepa embarked on a mission to build one of the most unique radial cars to date and we have to say, he has done just that.

Featuring functional headlights and grille, Alepa’s new Corvette is just about as flawless as it can get.
With photos of the completed car surfacing from the RK Racecraft shop right outside of Atlanta, Alepa is all smiles after finally seeing his dream ride in one piece, all the same color and in tip-top condition for the $50,000 payday at South Georgia Motorsports Park this weekend for Lights Out 7.
A big hurdle in front of the team is the lack of testing on a brand new car and combination, that is in the face of many other top-tier teams leading into this event. The Texas-based team has enlisted the tuning minds at Pro Line Racing, where the twin turbocharged HEMI powerplant was constructed for the dark red assassin coming to Radial vs the World this weekend. With all the brainpower behind this car, it will definitely be one to watch for as we lead into qualifying and eliminations for arguably the biggest drag radial event of all time.
Alepa announced a few days ago that previous wheelman, Rob Valden, will be back in the seat and gets the enviable honor if being the first driver to turn loose of the button on this, the only C7 Corvette (to our knowledge) constructed as a purpose-built radial entry.

Low ride height and a mean aerodynamics package could just enhance the chances to see a big number out of this hot rod very quickly.
Valden drove the previous Ford Mustang in the Alepa camp in season’s past and got the nod to wheel the new Corvette a few days ago. In talks with Rob, he shared that he’s very excited and honored to be behind the wheel of such a state-of-the-art piece that Stevens Race Cars, RK Racecraft, Pro Line Racing, FuelTech USA and more companies had their hands in to make sure Alepa’s hot rod was ready to debut at SGMP.
