DMC Racing, based out of Halifax, Massachusetts, has been full tilt on David DeMarco’s big bodied Buick for the past few months with a complete powerplant swap, along with more updates. DeMarco traded in his quiet, twin turbochargers for a huffing supercharger setup with trick zoomie-style headers running out directly behind the front tires. The team is a fixture in the Outlaw 10.5 world in the competitive Northeast region of the country with multiple wins and a few appearances in the NMCA series in years past, as well.
DeMarco brought in longtime friend, Greg Zoetmulder of Greg Z Designs, to help with the new exterior design for the Buick and he cranked out this amazing rendering and the graphic minds went to work. DMC continued their custom work and updates to the Buick while the graphic designers got the new wrap design ready for install.

DMC Racing posted this photo of the beastly Buick sitting on the scales and getting all checked out a few days ago, after GregZ Designs laid down the new black and silver wrap.
This team has been a mainstay in the 10.5 ranks for years but with the recent updates and a few extra additions, DeMarco and crew chief, Lonnie Haude, are going to strap on a set of Mickey Thompson 315 Drag Radials and come over to play in the ever-growing world of Drag Radial racing. They hope to compete in some of the top Drag Radial events of 2015 and make some noise, figuratively and literally, in both Outlaw 10.5 and Drag Radial/Radial vs. The World trim.
As mentioned in the previous story, Bob Mason of Mason Racing Engines was selected to provide the horsepower to DeMarco’s alcohol-burning Buick. David and the creative minds at DMC Racing also have some other updates coming to Buick but they are being extremely secretive about them, as any race team is!
We are proud to see the DeMarco family improving one of the most unique cars in small-tire racing bringing some more flavor into the mold! David has the car in the Wiseco Performance Products booth at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend, so if you’re headed there, put this sinister ride on your list of things to see!
