Induction Solutions’ own Steve Johnson is known for his world-renowned nitrous oxide systems in Pro Modified, small tire and numerous grudge/no time cars. One genre that’s growing quickly, though, is the street race and no prep world. With many racers swapping to turbochargers and superchargers, those opting for a nitrous oxide combination are becoming fewer and far between, except for one sinister black Chevrolet Camaro out of the depths of Mississippi. Enter Kye Kelley.
“If the world thought ‘The Shocker’ was fast last year on two kits, this year, it’s gonna blow your mind. Planning to put down the quickest pass ever on a street in 2016, mostly thanks to Induction Solutions.”
In an effort to remain at the front of the pack, Kye called in Johnson’s team to update his nitrous system from his original two kits to a new intake manifold from CFE with two direct port systems and a Punisher plenum system, with the new CNC lightened solenoids, as well. As a caveat to the photos shown here, Johnson insists that Kelley will still be running a dual carburetor setup, and that the single-carb top on the intake seen here is installed for photo purposes only.
Johnson and Induction Solutions have been a frontrunner in the nitrous game for years, and with the help of big names like Kye Kelley, their name will continue to be pushed out to the masses with their stellar performances. In numerous talks with Kelley, he’s had nothing but praise for Induction Solutions and their work ethic.
“Induction Solutions nitrous are Grade A, top of the line, and that’s why you see ‘The Shocker’ in the winner’s circle year round; not to mention, Steve and his staff are very easy to deal with and make you feel like family.”
