The Pro Line Advantage: Helping Customers Get To The Winners Circle

It could well be argued that no engine builder has achieved greater success in the history of drag racing than Ball Ground, Georgia’s Pro Line Racing — that thanks to not only its second-to-none product, but the customer support in the field.

Founded in 2005 by Eric Dillard and Doug Patton, Pro Line gained initial fanfare in the fledgling small-tire drag racing ranks of the ORSCA series and various Outlaw 10.5 venues with its lineup of small-block and big-block Ford and big-block Chevrolet engines. Virtually synonymous with turbochargers, the team achieved considerable success with its in-house and customer machines, earning event titles and championships and resetting records left and right during the late 2000s and into the early 2010s.

Pro Line later added its own 670-inch big-block to the mix, which propelled it beyond 10.5-inch tire racing and into Pro Modified. In the years since, Pro Line has largely shifted away from derivatives of OEM Ford and Chevrolet production engines with custom race-bred, all-billet mills, including the 481X and the venerable Hemi that have powered its customers into the history books in venues from Pro Modified to Radial vs The World to Drag Week and beyond.

Ushering in the newest era of its business, Pro Line has partnered with ProCharger in recent seasons to develop what it intends to be affordable, durable, and easy-to-tune, turn-key supercharged engine packages for use in all forms of heads-up drag racing. With the resources of some of the brightest engine builders and tuners in the world, that initiative has already bore fruit, with a radial-tire world record and an NMCA championship.

Pro Line’s tuning lineup is a who’s-who of the sport’s top minds, including Steve Petty, Jamie Miller, Josh Ledford, and Brad Personett.

In addition to its engines, Pro Line also serves as the American partner of FuelTech, providing parts, service, customer support, tuning, and turnkey packages of the Brazilian manufacturers’ electronic fuel injection/engine management and ignition systems.
