Hamburger’s New Carb Spacers, OIl Filter Adapters, & Hedman Pro Mod Hedders

Hedman Hedders began as a one-man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. What started out as a way to simply make a few bucks to pay for Bob’s racing hobby quickly turned into the premier header manufacturer for both the racing and street header marketplaces. The Hedman Performance Group (a.k.a. The HP Group) consists of Hedman Hedders, Trans-Dapt Performance Products, Hedman HUSLER Hedders, and Hamburger’s Performance Products. Hedman & Trans-Dapt are both original members of the automotive performance aftermarket.

Vic Wood provided us with the latest details from Hedman Hedders for 2010. Hamburger’s Performance Products displayed two new Holley carb spacers in both one and two inch heights. You will be sure to increase your throttle response with these beautiful deep-red anodized pieces. They are CNC machined from billet T6 aluminum and have a lifetime warranty. These billet spacers are available in duel plane, open plenum, or four-hole manifold styles. Vic told us that these spacers “extend the plenum length of the manifold and increase the air speed which helps the engine react and increase low end torque.”

Hamburger also has a low-profile remote oil filter base that fits the popular Fram HP6 filter. It also is CNC machined from billet T6 aluminum and matches the deep-red anodized finish of the carb spacers.

Vic mentioned that they’re adding a new maximum performance “hedder” for the Pro Mod / Pro Comp crowd as well as a Nostalgia Zoomie “hedder”.
