The classic carburetor is not exactly the most efficient way to deliver fuel. Yes, it still works for many street and racing applications, but technology has come a long way. There are better ways to feed fuel to your engine, especially if you’re a serious racer.
Ron’s Fuel Injection has just such a system. Their “Flying Toilet” throttle body systems (we’re not joking. That’s what they call ’em) are designed for serious drag racers looking to pull more power out of their engine.
The Flying Toilet is basically a giant air valve, and is available from 3.75” all the way up to their new, massive 5” bowl that sucks in some serious amounts of air (over 2,000 CFM).
The Flying Toilet operates like an air valve, with the fuel being delivered to the engine near the bottom of the intake manifold runner. This provides instant fuel for the engine in a fine mist through Ron’s unique cone-shaped nozzles. These throttle bodies are designed for serious race cars. However, they are easy to install, and can be had in a single or dual toilet setup, depending on how much fuel your car craves.
