We talked with our friend Ben O’Connor, Vice President of Sales at MasterCraft Safety about the latest from Impact by MasterCraft Safety. O’Connor tells us that the last year has been a great one for the safety equipment giant as they prepare to bring even more safety items to racers for this next racing season.
According to O’Connor, “we are really proud to say that our suits are all handcrafted and made in the USA by American workers.”
It was only last year at this same time that MasterCraft Safety announced the purchase of Impact Racing. In the past year the company has continued their growth by bringing great value and moderate pricing to sportsman racers. “Our entry level sportsman race suits may be moderately priced but they are loaded with quality and features. They are handmade to our standards by the same people that build our custom firesuits,” said O’Connor.
We are really proud to say that our suits are all handcrafted and made in the USA.
We got a look at the new Racer single layer firesuit made from the company’s matte-finish Futura Nomex complete with all the “extras” mentioned earlier. O’Connor also pointed out the “ImpactMAX fire retardant liner that provides a cool and comfortable suit for racers,” adding “the box quilting, wide shoulder silhouette, front pants pockets, banded collar and velcro fastened belt make this a real bargain for racers.”
Features for Impact by MasterCraft Safety’s New Single Layer Firesuit:
- Handcrafted in the USA
- Manufacturer certified to comply with the SFI Foundation’s 3.2A-5 Specification
- Fire-retardant outer layer with cool comfortable ImpactMAX inner liner.
- 360 degree full-floating arm gussets.
- Comfortable ribbed arm cuffs and a boot cut ankle cuffs for a tight seal and fit.
- Inset front pants pockets.
By all indications, Impact by MasterCraft Safety has indeed done well this past year and we can expect to see a lot more products being released in short order. We can hardly wait to see what they bring us next.
