Billet Specialties is bringing the bling to the drag strip with their new Comp 7 line of wheels. These new wheels are more than just a pretty face, they are designed to make your racecar quicker buy shedding weight, but not strength. Billet Specialties also designed these wheels to work on a large variety of cars and even dragsters.
The goal of Billet Specialties with the new Comp 7 wheels was to improve on what they learned with the Comp 5 line of wheels. The Comp 7 wheels boast an upgraded style that is timeless and they are lighter than previous wheels. Billet Specialties also rolled these new wheels out in more sizes to make it easier for any racer to take advantage of what the Comp 7 wheels offer.
Scott Sandoval from Billet Specialties provides the details on what makes the Comp 7 wheels so special.
“The 17x 4.5 wheel in this line weighs less than 10 pounds, so it really helps to reduce the weight on the front end of the car. These wheels also offer extra brake caliper clearance and updated styling that people will like. We are offering a wide range of sizes from 15-inch, all the way up to a 17-inch wheel, and we offer a double beadlock option for the rears. These wheels are also available in sizes for dragsters, and we cover all the different spindle options out there.”
The Comp 7 wheels are for track use only and carry an SFI rating to reflect this. The wheel-centers for the rears are forged 6061 T6 Aluminum with a spun aluminum outer barrel. The front wheels are a one-piece forged aluminum design that provides strength, while not adding weight.
