Earlier this year, Dragzine and JEGS High Performance, one of the most recognizable names in the automotive and high performance industry, began working together in an effort to further promote the JEGS Mail Order brand and products to the automotive enthusiast and DIY racers. As a part of that new relationship — which we’re excited to finally reveal — the folks at JEGS chose Dragzine’s own Project BlownZ radial-tire Chevrolet Camaro to be featured prominently on the cover of the mid-summer edition of their high performance mail order catalog.
This of course is a true honor, as the cover of a JEGS catalog is quite an exclusive piece of real estate, reserved for the only finest race cars, muscle cars, and classics. And with millions of catalogs mailed out to consumers and speed shops each and every year, it only adds to the prestige.

The new-look BlownZ, which our longtime readers are certainly familiar with, is the quickest and fastest magazine-built project car in history, with a best pass to date of 7.09-seconds at 203 mph on a set of Mickey Thompson 275 Pro Drag Radials. The complete specifications of the car — the 441 cubic inch LSX mill, the ProCharger F-1X-12 supercharger, the Edelbrock LS-R heads — are all outlined in a sidebar on the inside front cover of the catalog.
“There are a lot of people who helped make this happen for us,” explained James Lawrence, Power Automedia President and driver of the Camaro. “It’s really a great honor to be featured on more than one million catalogs and it’s a good day for our partners in the project, as well.”
