The 21st annual Haltech World Cup Finals will take over Maryland International Raceway November 4-6th with over 400 heads-up racers and more! If you can’t make it to this historic race don’t worry, as SpeedVideo will broadcast the entire event live and in HD thanks to live stream presenting sponsor ProCharger, with additional same day coverage right here on Dragzine.
Outlaw and heads-up racers from all over the world make their pilgrimage to MDIR to compete for big money and the bragging rights to say they are a WCF champion. Promoter Jason Miller lays down some of the best track prep you will ever see to give these racers the grip needed to lay down world record numbers. The WCF event is the only race where you will see an astounding assortment of imports and domestics share the track and run heads-up.
Racers will be gunning for over $80,000 in purse money in classes like Outlaw vs Extreme, Radial vs Modified, X275 vs Hot Rod, and many more. If the prize money wasn’t enough, there are great cash bounties, contingency money, and special giveaways for the racers who come out to this incredible event.
The biggest question of the 21st annual Haltech World Cup Finals is, will we see the FIRST five-second pass in WCF history? The bad boys of Outlaw vs Extreme are going to do everything they can to break into that magical elapsed time zone and become a legend. Adding to the drama is that if one of the Outlaw 10.5 racers can rip off a five-second run, they will be the first Outlaw 10.5 car in history to do so.
If all that wasn’t enough to motivate you to come out to this epic event, there’s tons of great activities going on off the track as well. The WCF has a huge custom car show, 2,300 foot vendor midway packed with the best aftermarket companies around, live entertainment, and even a bikini contest.
