K&N Spring Fling 20’s Returns To Bristol May 19-22

Famed professional bracket racers Peter Biondo and Kyle Seipel have once again put together the annual K&N Spring Fling 20’s, which is set for the weekend of May 19-22 at Bruton Smith’s scenic Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN. And once again their goal is to put bracket racers on the big stage as they vie for the $20,000 winners payout.

The cameras will be rolling all weekend as the Spring Fling 20’s will be televised nationally during a dedicated 30-minute show to be aired on FOX Sports Net. But for those who can’t wait to see the race and get the results, live audio, video, and timing will be broadcast all weekend long from Bristol.

“Bracket racers are extremely talented and seldom get noticed nationally. We have put together a race structure that is not only very generous and deep in purse and racer appreciation giveaways, but also will put Bracket Racers center stage. We have a TV cast coming and other media outlets covering the event”. Peter added.

“The goal of Kyle and myself is not only to put together a great race, but a great overall experience. In 2010 we accomplished this and we expect it to be even better in 2011.”

The Spring Fling 20’s kicks off on Thursday, May 19 with a $12,5000 to win affair, while each of the three following days’ events will award twenty large to the winner, $6,000 to the runner-up, and payouts on down to the third round winners.

Interestingly, and for the first time to our knowledge, all four races will be contested on the nitro-like 1000′ course, with MPH readings and clearly marked finish line stripes and cones in place for racers to accurately find and race the finish stripe.
