Heads up drag racing competitor and promoter Nate Pritchett, who heads up the popular Ultimate Outlaw Shootout Series and is most known for his role in the PINKS and PINKS All Out television show, this week unveiled his new two-car effort for Outlaw 1.5 competition in 2010 in conjunction with Coast Chassis Design.
The two-car effort out of the Coast Chassis shop will be led by the shop’s new flagship car, a 2006 Mercedes AMG SL55 with a Brad Anderson HEMI between the framerails and a PSI screw supercharger protruding from the hood. Pete Bonafide, who co-owns Coast Chassis, will pilot the Mercedes that is already garnering plenty of attention around the internet and is sure to be a popular attraction when it makes its debut next season.
Pritchett, meanwhile, will handle the driving duties of his and brother Adam’s new Mustang that will be powered by a twin turbocharged 449-cid bullet built by Anthony Disomma. Pritchett’s car is finished in Dark Highland Green, the factory color found on the 2011 Bullitt Mustang.
Coast Chassis, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, is putting the finishing touches on these two wicked machines, and both will be publicly unveiled at the upcoming Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando. In addition to the four events conducted by the Ultimate Outlaws, Pritchett and Bonafide plan on hitting many of the high profile Outlaw 10.5 shows next year, such as the Shakedown at E’Town, ORTC in Georgia, and the Street Car Super Nationals, along with some NMRA, Cecil County, Atco, and Florida-area races.
