Barricades have left us all standing, wondering how we will take our next step to reach our goal. How we handle it and push forward is how we are defined. For Adam Flamholc it was miles and miles of ocean, and the uncertainty of the unknown. The level of dedication that Flamholc has to the sport of drag racing is nothing short of titanic, as illustrated by the team’s latest announcement.

Flamholc and the Flamholc racing crew, hailing all the way from Sweden, will attend all ten events on the American Drag Racing League tour this season, traveling from their home in Malmo, Sweden to the United States to compete in the entire sophomore season of the Pro Modified category in the ADRL. After placing fourth in the FIA European Drag Racing Series in the Pro Modified Standings last season, the team will make the jump to the ADRL full time. Adam itends to be in Bradenton, Fla. for the U.S. Street Nationals on January 27-29 with his 1967 Camaro, where they will make their first official laps with the new JAN-CEN powerplant from Mike Janis’ engine shop. They hope to begin test hits on Thursday, January 25th, prior to the weekends racing events. The Flamloc team was undecided about which organization to join, but after careful consideration, opted to tackle the ADRL, thanks in large part to the two day format in which the events are held. This will make it much easier on the team to travel from Sweden to the United States on a monthly basis.
