When you’re in the business of making top-notch shifter assemblies like B&M Racing and churning them out faster than you can ship them, you tend to get a lot of questions from enthusiasts who are in the process of installing their own. Case in point, our friends at B&M who have been producing shifters since the ’50s have identified the need for aftermarket support beyond merely the components themselves.

They’ve assisted drag racers for nearly seven decades as of now, and the company’s latest endeavor is aimed at supplying enthusiasts with technical support, thanks to its how-to video series. B&M has incorporated four all-new videos that allow enthusiasts to get more familiar with their all-new shifter, and the videos take the time to even answer some of those questions that are frequently asked.

“We receive a lot of calls from customers who are trying to figure out how to shift their new B&M shifter accurately,” Matt Kehoe, B&M Racing’s Digital Media Manager told us. “These videos help to demonstrate how some of our popular gated and ratchet style shifters operate.”

One of the highlighted videos focuses on the automatic shift cable, which many enthusiasts seek to learn more about.

The video displays the proper way to adjust the cable, allowing enthusiasts to set the proper alignment of the it on their automatic transmission. Checkout the videos sectioned below, and remember to subscribe to B&M Racing‘s YouTube channel here for more how-to clips.
