Mel Nelson took down the last nitrous car with a 4.78 @ 162 to Opaleski's 4.92 @ 151. chad's father Andrew has been tuningthe car for a while now and the consistancy is showing now. Husted and Stevenson were the other pair left but husted didn't make the call and Stevenson went down easy to save parts. In the final Stevenson would get away forst with a .062 light but it wasn't enough to hold off the turbos 169 MPH top end charge. 4.74 for Nelson, 4.78 for Stevenson in a close race.

Outlaw 632

Top Qualifier Mike Schmidt had a bye to the final running a 6.27. Eddie Whitlow drove around Newell with a 4.77 to the loosing 4.84. The final had eddie out first with a .026 light but that wasn't good enough to hold off Schmitd's 4.71 @ 154 MPH run.
