C.A.R.S. Million
Georgia native Rodney Phagan, driving a doorslammer, which is often considered a disadvantage in the cut-throat world of high stakes bracket racing, earned the largest single payday in all of drag racing at the C.A.R.S. Million at the Montgomery Motorsports Park over the weekend, when he defeated the dragster of Cecil Hankins in the final round, using a perfect .000 reaction time to get the job done. Phagan reportedly collected more than $200,000 for his efforts.
