HARRISON, BRUDER, MITCHELL REIGN AT RADIAL FEST: SPRING EDITION IN HUNTSVILLE
Eddie Harrison (Pro 315), Rich Bruder (X275), and Barry Mitchell (Outlaw 275) led the list of champions on Saturday evening at the second running of Radial Fest at the Huntsville Dragway in Alabama.
Radial Fest: Spring Edition
Eddie Harrison emerged as the champion in a lighting-quick field of Pro 315 radial racers on Saturday evening at the first of two Radial Fest events to be held this season at the Huntsville Dragway. Harrison denied Jamie Hancock — who crashed in the historic final round at the inaugural Radial Fest — from turning around his fortunes in the final round, as an interesting turn of events at the tree got the best of Hancock, allowing Harrison to cruise to the title. In X275, class kingpin Rich Bruder made it two-for-two at Radial Fest as final round opponent Shane Fisher fouled out. Bruder would’ve been tough to beat, as he ran just a hundredth off the world record with a 4.45 in the money round. In Outlaw 275, Barry Mitchell used a 4.31 to oust Robert Culver, while Eric Malone defeated Hayden Johnson in Mean Street, 5.14 to 5.16.

In Renegade, Varela kept his torrid pace going, using a 7.62 to defeat Alton Clements in the final round, while Ronnie Reynolds won on a single in Coyote Modified.
