Street Car Super Nationals St. Louis
The Premier Street Car Association returned to the Gateway Motorsports Park over the weekend for the third running of Anarchy at the Arch, and despite red-hot August temperatures, big numbers fell across the board for some of the nation’s top door car racers. In Outlaw Pro Mod, past world champion Jason Scruggs defeated Brandon Lewis in the finale with low elapsed time of the weekend at 3.61-seconds. In the Pro Nitrous vs Pro Boost category, Midwest hitter Eddie Rogers took down NHRA racer Jim Bell in the final with a 3.93, while Florida’s Josh Klugger nabbed Radial vs The World honors with a 3.95 to 4.01 defeat of Mark Micke. And in the closest of the final round matchups, Matt Bell ousted Mike Jon in Limited Drag Radial, 4.23 to 4.29, following Jon’s nearly .04-second starting line advantage.
